Civic Center TV is proud to introduce new features to enhance our website’s accessibility on computer and mobile web browsers! These features will help Greater West Bloomfield residents and visitors of all different needs see their favorite shows and segments without barriers, all with help of this new widget called Userway!

 

HOW TO USE THE USERWAY ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES

 
 

 

Click on the icon on the right side of the page, as shown in the image below:
 

 
Select the feature(s) that fit your needs. Some buttons will have multiple possible features, all as listed below.
 
 

Userway Features

To use any of the Userway features, you just need to click on the option you want to use!

Userway includes the following features:

Contrast +

This gives the user the option to change the colour contrast on the site. There are 3 options to choose from:

  • inverted colours
  • dark contrast colours
  • light contrast colours

 

Highlight Links

Selecting this will highlight all the links on the page.

 

 

Bigger Text

This allows the user to increase the size of the text. There are 4 options to choose from.

 

 

Text Spacing

This allows the user to increase the spacing between the text. There are 3 options to choose from.

 

 

Pause Animations

This allows a user to pause all animations.

 

 

Dyslexia Friendly

This allows the user to change the text font to a font which is Dyslexia Friendly. There are 2 options:

  • Dyslexia Friendly
  • Legible Fonts

 

 

Cursor

This allows the user to increase the size of their cursor on the screen.

 

 

Tooltips

This allows the user to enable tooltips.

 

 

Line Height

This allows the user to increase the line height. There are 3 options to choose from:

  • 1.5x
  • 1.75x
  • 2x

 

 

Text Align

This allows the user to align all text. There are 4 options to choose from:

  • Align left
  • Align right
  • Align centre
  • Justify

 

 

Saturation

This gives the user the option to change the saturation on the site. There are 3 options to choose from:

  • Low Saturation
  • High Saturation
  • Desaturate
